Garden of Peace Islamic Cemetery

The cemetery is located in north central Orange County. Travel east on E Colonial Dr (SR-50) away from Orlando. Go past North Goldenrod Road. Road. Turn left at Harrell Rd. The cemetery is on the left side of Harrell Rd just before Chapel Hill Cemetery.
The Garden of Peace is a new cemetery serving Orlandos growing Islamic community. On my visit in early January 2009, it appeared as if the cemetery is still in the construction stage. The property is currently occupied by a house which showed some damage and presumebly will be torn down. There is a large building across the street. Everything is fenced off by an attractive black metal fence, rather than the usual chain link fence.
