If your "default" email has not been set on your computer then you are most likely unable to get through to this site and any other site where you see a contact email address. You may be unaware of this and think you have successfuly contacted me. This happened to me. Two years went by after my having sent out emails before I heard back and that was after I set up the "defaul"t email account through Outlook Express. I thought I had sent them out when in fact they just sat in the account until such time the "default" email account was set up. Having upgraded to Windows 7, I was unable to send out emails until the Live Mail was set up. Please understand this is not the same as an account you set up on your own for personal emails. You can copy email address you see when you pull up my contact information and take it over to an email account you have set up for personal use and send it that way until you can get your default email set up. This also applies to any other website you need to contact. My contact email address as it appears on the mail icon located on most of my pages is flowersgengal@gmail.com. I have also added my facebook email for your convienience at... http://facebook.com/LindaFlowers.TS

If you find a page that is not centered, please change your zoom level. Adjusting either higher or lower will correct the problem and assure a more pleasant viewing of the page.

Viewing An Image

When viewing a page you find an image partially blacked out, simply go back a page and return imediately and the image should be fully loaded and ready for viewing.

URL Address

Please note our url address and bookmark it. It is http://fl-genweb.org/mpc/pinellas. If you are not inserting the mpc into the address you are being taken to the old site, which is not being updated and you will be losing important, valuable information for your research in Pinellas County.

Search Engine

Please do not rely on the search engine listed on our state index page. It is not accurate in that it is not pulling up most surnames listed on this site. Names appearing in newspaper clippings do not appear in the search engine. It may be time consuming, but the only way to know if a surname of interest is listed is to look for yourself.

#1 FSGS Florida Pioneer Descendants Committee Do you have an ancestor who lived in the territory of Florida before 1845 statehood? The Florida Pioneer Descendants Certification Committee would like to hear from you. And if your pioneer was born in any county area before it was officially formed and named, a county award may also be waiting for you. Certificates are presented annually at the Florida State Genealogical Society's Pioneer Banquet each Fall in conjunction with yearly Conference events.
