Cyndi's List Cyndi's index to genealogically-related sites is the largest on the Internet  She has identified many meaningful and useful sites in over 70 separate categories.  The list is always growing and is one of the most current and regularly updated sites available.  You'll find categories for all 50 US states as well as Canadian provinces and foreign locales, personal home pages, records types, various ethnic and religious groups, and categories for several special topics of genealogical interest.

Open House at FL Archives:

The Florida State Library and Archives is going to start hosting a Genealogy Day on the first Tuesday of every month – starting on 2 February 2010. Staff will be giving tours, have a variety of resources on display, demonstrate the Florida Memory website, and showoff some of the photos and films housed in the Archives. They will also have staff on hand to show researchers around, review the available resources, answer questions, etc. The State Library and Archives of Florida is located at 500 South Bronough Street, Tallahassee, Florida 32399-0250.
