March 14th, Mr. Allen Hart, aged 87. Mr. Hart was one of the oldest
landmarks of
Obituary – We regret to announce the death of Dr. DM Dake, who died at 11:30 Friday night, March 27th, 1891, of a complication of ailments. He had been ill, and confined to his home for thirteen weeks.

In 1835 he married Mary Bainbridge Manuel, who survives him.
Of nine children, but four are living: Mrs. Dr. FW Skiles,

The funeral took place at 2 o’clock on Sunday afternoon, the
services being conducted by Rev. JH Parmlee, of
DeFuniak Springs, and Rev. Marvin G Hodge, of
Dr. Dake had many friends in DeFuniak Springs, and the bereaved family have the sympathy of the entire community.
