Died – Mr. Joseph Mitchum on March 7th, an old and respected citizen of Walton county; about 65 years of age. Mr. Mitchum was well known to every old resident and universally respected by all. His burial took place at Alaqua last Monday.
At the meeting of the stockholders of the Florida Chautauqua, Mr. CH Harris was re-elected president; Daniel Campbell was elected vice-president; TF McGourin, secretary; CH Newell, treasurer; AH Ggilbert, superintendent.
