Alvin Charles "A. C." Bush, 82, died at home in Holmes County, Florida on Friday, November 17. He was born Florida where he maintained a home, but was a long time resident of National City. Mr. Bush served in the Marine Corps and was a World War II veteran. He worked for Pacific Telephone until his retirement in 1983 and was a member of its Pioneers Club.
He is survived by his widow, Audrey M. Bush, of National City; two daughters, the Rev. Patricia Bush and Suzanne Alotta, and two sons Mark and Robert Bush, all of San Diego County. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, a brother, Durell Bush, of Graceville, FL, and a sister, Eunice Tindell, of Biloxi, MS.
Services will be held on Monday at the Noma Baptist Church with burial to follow at Brown Cemetery. Arrangements by James and Lipford Funeral Home of Graceville.
