Mrs. Georgia Brown, 92, died at the home of her daughter Mrs. T. B. Bush, in Holmes County yesterday leaving 141 descendants.
Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2:00 p.m. at the Baptist Church at Noma. The Rev. W. S. Clark will officiate.
Other survivers include three sons, E. Reese Brown of Panama City, Alvin of Ponce de Leon, and Frank of Graceville; two daughters in addition to Mrs. Bush, Mrs. Albert Bush of Pensacola and Mrs. D. C. Cameron of Graceville; 47 grandchildren, 80 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren.

Note: Georgia Evelyn Murphy Brown was born in Henry Co., AL. She was the daughter of George and Mary Johnson Murphy. Her siblings were Samantha (Hutto), William, and Robert. Some of Robert's family live in Holmes Co. At the time of her death all of her siblings were dead. She was married to James Irving Brown in Abbeville, Henry Co., AL in 1880 and later moved to Holmes Co. ca. 1885. The other Murphy siblings all lived in AL. Her grandfather was Malcolm Murphy, b. 1797 in SC.
