Mrs W A Bishop Dead: Mrs W A Bishop who has been sick for a long time, died the 30th and the remains were laid to rest in the Otter Creek cemetery the 31st , at 11:30 o'clock, the funeral services being conducted by Rev J E West. Another soul has crossed the stream, Another one now lies; A treasure hidden to the tomb, Her soul beyond the skies. Another heart has ceased to throb, Another soul has gone. To join angelic choirs above Around the celestial throne. She went where duty called. To bravely shield the right; As one of old she fell, Having fought a goodly fight. She bravely rallied forth, Harking to duty's voice; Her fate she met - But now Her soul may well rejoice. So true, so noble was her call, She dared her life to give, But on through ages yet to come In memory she will live. Cherished and loved by all she knew, Yes, loved by every one; But now from us her shining face Has forever gone. No more life warfare she shall know, Life's battle is o'er. Boldly she laid her armor down Beyond death's stream may soar. Weep not for her dear children and husband, Because her smiling face is gone. But ever strive to meet her In heaven around that celestial throne.
