Gilmore Post Office
Duval Co., Florida
The
post office was in operation from 20 Dec. 1887 until 30 June
1916. At that time the mail was handled by South Jacksonville aka
Station of Jacksonville. Willilam F. Kruder was the first
postmaster. Possibly William Thompson Gilmore was the second one.
