MRS. MERLE BECKHAM
Mrs.
Merle Beckham , age 53, died Saturday morning at the Naples Community
Hospital. She made her home at 1512 14 th Ave.,No., in Naples
< style="font-weight: bold;">She
is survived by her husband W. C. Beckham of Naples, two daughters ,
Mrs. Doris M. Alderson, of Naples, and Mrs. Frances Christine Burrill,
of Jacksonville, two brothers, Owen and Eugene Sherouse, both of
Arcadia, <>one
sister Mrs. Ada Brown of Arcadia , and three grand-children.
Funeral services were held
Monday at 2:00 p.m. in the Pittman Funeral Chapel, conducted by the
Rev. E. C. Beaird, pastor of the East Naples Baptisdt Church, with interment at the
Naples Memorial Gardens. Members of the Naples Moose Lodge served
as pallbearers.

We
would like to express our sincere appreciation to the many friends
and
neighbors who were so kind and thoughtful following the death of
Mrs.
Merle Beckham. We would also like to acknowledge the splendid
assistance of the staff at the Naples Community Hospital and the
co-operation of Dr. L. F. Gwaltney, the Rev. E. C. Beaird, and the
Pittman Funeral Home. This warm support was a source of strength to all
of us.

Merle
Sherouse was the daughter of T.C. ( Tom ) and Clara Burnsed of
Nocatee. Her sister Ada Sherouse Brown and one Brother Eugene
Sherouse are all buried in Johusa Creek
Cemetery. Her brother Qwen Sherouse/Sherrouse is
buried in Hardee County.
They are
related to the Crisman ( his sister and family) Marsh and
Montgomery families of Lee and Southwest FL.area.
