Wales- Dan Arnold, passed away, Friday, April 22, 2011. in
Auburndale. Daniel was born in Arcadia, Florida on June 19, 1921 to William Charley and Mertie Elizabeth ( Welch ) Arnold. He has been a lifelong Florida resident. He has moved to the area from Ruskin, Florida. Daniel W. Arnold, was a retired Captain for the U. S. Marine Corp. for 21 years, serving in WWII and was a Vice President for the Bank of America, He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Frostproof. Dan was preceded in death by his wife Elaine Arnold; a daughter, Loretta Windham; 3 sisters and 1 brother; his parents, Charley and Mertie Arnold. Survivors include; His daughter Lisa; sister Ruth ; 1 granddaughter and a great grandson. Funeral services on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at the First Baptist Church of Frostproof with Rev. Darrol Hood officiating. Interment; In Silver Hill Cemetery, Frostproof.
