Fort Myers News-Press, Jan.29,1982, Collier County Annie R. Howard, 82, of 3260 Lunar St. died Thursday at her residence. She was a lifetime resident of Collier County, coming from Marco Island in 1978 and was a member of the Marco Island Church of God. In 1973 Mrs Howard was honored by a plaque at the semi-centennial as the oldest living native woman on Marco Island. She is survived by two sons, Francis Howard of Naples, and Wilbur Howard of Fort Myers three daughters, Lois Crews and Gwen Bowers, both of Naples and Lettie Norville of Klamath Falls, Ore; a stepdaughter, Leona High of Tampa, FL.; four brothers, Richard and George Addison of Naples, Ernest Addison of Tice, FL .and Chester Addison of Fort Myers; two sisters, Dolly Storter of Fort Myers, FL and Alice Graziano of Medford, Mass; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. from the Church of God , Naples, with Rev. Walter Lauster, paster, officiating. Burial will follow in the Marco Island Cemetery , Marco Island, FL. Friends may call at the Earl G. Hodges Funeral Chapel Friday from 6-8 p.m. |
