Mildred Skipper, 85, of 2000 Johnsosn Road, died early Saturday morning.

   Mrs. Skipper had been a resident of Immokalee since 1949, coming here from Hardee County.

   She is survived by
Two sons;
Sidney Skipper and Howard Skipper;
Two daughters;
Golda Snyder and Ina (Tootsie) Johnson, all of Immokalee; 
One brother;
Carl Washington of Immokalee;
One sister;
Inez Warrington of Fort Myers; 
12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and several nieces an d nephews.

   Funeral services will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church.  Interment will be in the Baptist Cemetery.
  Friends may call at Brister Funeral Home, 221 N. Third Street, tonight from 7 to 9 p.m.


Aunt Mildred was a lovely, lovely lady. I think that she was a "good to the bone" person. Never heard her utter a harsh word about anyone or anthing, for that matter.
