Naples Daily News - July 30, 1974 - Funeral services for Emma S. Uhl, 51, of 167 Fourth St. N. will be conducted  Wednesday at 10 am at Pittman's Naples Chapel, 850 Sixth Ave.N. with Rev. Marshall Boroughs of East Naples Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Naples Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the Naples chapel today from 7 to 9 pm.

Everglades City - Bert Vickers age 68 of Glades Haven Trailer Park, Everglades City, died Monday September 26, 1983 in Naples. He had been a resident of Everglades City 11 years coming from Marco Island and had been a lifetime resident of Collier County. He is survived by his wife, Eva Vickers of Everglades City; two daughters, Katherine Lyerly of Naples and Tina Lavender of Reynoldsburg, OH.; a son, Bert Cooper of Everglades City; one sister Mary (Allie) Marshall of Naples; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday 1:00 p.m. from the Earl G. Hodges Funeral Chapel with Rev. Walter Lauster, Pastor of the Church of God of Naples and Brother Ken Darby of Everglades City, officiating. Burial will follow in Naples Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the Hodges Chapel Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Charles Marshall, Curtis Marshall, Doyle Doxsee, Phillip Todd Johnson, Lavonne Rimes and Richard Addison Jr

Naples Daily News - March 14, 1974 - Russell C. Vollmer, 72, of 605 12th Ave, S., died Wednesday at Naples community Hospital. He had been a Naples resident for seven years, coming from Rochester, N.Y. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Naples and is survived by his wife S. Elizabeth Vollmer of Naples; a son, Wade C. Vollmer of Raleigh, N.C.; a daughter, Mrs. Susan Larson of East Aurora, N.Y.; one brother, Joel B. Vollmer of Naples; two sisters, Mrs. Estell Brill of New Jersey and Dorothy Paul of Paoli, Pa., and six grandchildren. Services will be conducted Saturday at 11am from the First Presbyterian church of Naples with Rev. John W. Stump, pastor, officiating. The family suggests donations be made to the First Presbyterian Church or The Naples Community Hospital. The Earl G. Hodges Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Eric Steve Vickers, 27, of 2703 Holly Ave. died Sunday April 15 in Colombia, South America. He was a life-long resident of Collier County. He is survived by his wife, Nancy of Naples; one daughter, Cynthia ol Naples; a brother, Lonnie Lee of Naples; two half-brothers, Donnie and Vernon Vickers; one sister, Mrs. Lavada King; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John McAvoy of Warwick, R. I.; his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie Nash of Naples; and his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Ada Vickers of Naples.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Pittmans Naples Chapel, 850 6th Ave. N. with Rev. Walter Lauster of the Church of God officiating. Burial will be in Naples Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m. Pallbearers will be Lonnie Vickers, Larry Powner, Donnie Burton, Gaynor McGill, Russell Platt and Ronnie Weeks.
