Collier County News, Daily News -- Friday, January 24, 1961- Hayes - Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Monday morning at the Earl G. Hodges funeral Chapel in Naples for Mrs. Caroline I. Hayes who died Thursday morning at her home on Kentucky Road in Bonita Springs. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Len Spotts, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Bonita. She is survived by a son Howard Hayes, a daughter Mrs. Helen Galloway, both of Bonita, and a daughter, Mrs. mildred Cline of Denver, Colo., and four grandchildren; a brother Howard B. Fisher of Fort Myers and a sister, Mary Frances Hawkins of San Francisco, Calif.
 
 
Hodges 
Collier County News, Daily News- March 17, 1964 - Funeral services were held this morning from the Earl G. Hodges Funeral Chapel in Naples for Vernum Lee Hodges Sr., 63, who died Saturday night at his home on Georgia Street, Bonita Springs. Services were conducted by the Rev. J. A. Bays, retired Methodist Minister. Interment was in the Bonita Springs Cemetery. Hodges was a commercial fisherman and had lived in Bonita since 1945, having been born in Sarasota. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Annie Mae Hodges; two sons, Vernum Lee Jr. and Patrick, both of Bonita Springs.; two daughters, Mrs. Annie McPhee of Fort Myers and Mrs. Emie Strock of Naples; his mother, Mrs. C.P. Collier of Estero; Two brothers, Calvin J. Collier and Wilson Collier, both of Estero; a sister residing in California and nine grandchildren. Pallbearers were Charles R. Youngblood, Ronald Cox, Joe Fernandez Jr., William Horn Jr, Mark Alvarez, and Don Strock, all of Bonita Springs.  
 
 
Hernandez 
Collier County News,Daily News - April 28, 1964 - Funeral services were held this morning in the First Baptist Church in Immokalee for Mrs. Maria S. Hernandez of Immokalee who died Saturday in Miami. Rev. L.E. Daniel, pastor of the church, officiated. Interment was in Naples Memorial Gardens. Arrangements were made through the Earl G. Hodges Funeral Chapel. Mrs. Hernandez had been a resident of Immokalee for the past five years. She is survived by her husband, Pablo Hernandez, a son, Pablo Jr.; twin daughters Rose Marie and Becky ann, and her mother, Mrs. Dorotea Gonsalez of Hern, Texas.
 

Hollingsworth
Collier County News,Daily News - May 19, 1964 - Mrs. Maude H. Hollingsworth, 78, died yesterday in Naples Community Hospital. A native of Tennessee, Mrs. Hollingsworth had been a native of this area since 1958, and made her home at 105th Avenue, Naples Park. She is survived by her husband, John Q. Hollingsworth of Naples; a brother, the Rev. Frank Hale of Chattanooga, Tenn.; and a sister, Mrs. Lulla Bice of Tennessee. A Christian Science funeral service will be held at 10 O'Clock Thursday morning at the Earl G. Hodges Funeral Chapel with Frank M. Tobin, first reader of the church officiating. Friends may call at the Hodges Funeral Chapel  from 7 to 9 tonight and from 7 to 9 Wednesday night. Interment will be in Naples Memorial Gardens. 
 
 
Haynes 
Collier County News, Daily News- Dec.20, 1964 - Alfred Lindquist Haynes, 76, a Copeland resident, died Friday at Naples Community Hospital. A native of Bergen, Norway, he had moved to Copeland a few years ago from Georgia. In 1915 Haynes joined the United States Coast Guard and later became an iron worker, but had been retired for the past few years. He was a member of the Baptist Church. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mary Ramsy of Savannah, Ga., and Mrs. Ada Collins of Copeland; three sons, Alfred L. Haynes of Clewiston, William F. and Otto E., both of Savannah; 20 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Rev. C.E. Martin, pastor of the Copeland Baptist Church, will conduct funeral services at 2 O'Clock Monday in the chapel of the Richard A. Pittman Funeral Home in Naples. Interment will be in Naples Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Ned Sheaffer, Ponce DeLeon Gumby, Randolph Swain, Charles singletary, Wayne Janes and Bob Henderson. Friends may call at the Pittman Funeral Home from 9 Sunday morning until 9 at night.

Collier County News, Daily News- Dec.6,1964 - Miss Eleanor T. Johnson, 74, died Saturday morning at her home on Ridge Drive in Pine Ridge. She had been a resident of Naples since 1956 when she moved here from Chicago. She is survived by two brothers, Gilbert H. Johnson of Naples and George T. Johnson of Chicago, and a niece and nephew. Dr. Harland Fague, pastor of Immanuel Lutheran Church, will conduct funeral services for Miss Johnson at 2 O'Clock Tuesday afternoon in the Earl G. Hodges Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in Naples Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral chapel from 7 to 9 O'Clock both tonight and tomorrow night.

Naples Daily News - Dec.1, 1977 -  D.H. "Johnnie" Johnson, 83, came to Naples 17 years ago from Woodward, Okla., died Wednesday at Naples Community Hospital. 
 Mr. Johnson founded Johnson's Air Conditioning Inc. in Naples and was active in civic affairs.He leaves his wife, Mrs. Doris Johnson; two stepsons, Donald Van Beck of Rockford, Ill., and John Van Beck of Tallahasee; a stepdaughter, Tracy Carroll of West Palm Beach; a brother Norman Johnson of Fort Lauderdale, and a sister Prudence Griffith of Hollywood, Fla. -Funeral services will be held Friday at Pittman's Naples Chapel.

Collier County News,Daily News - Tuesday, January 28, 1964 - Funeral services for Paul  Keenan, 63, who died Sunday at Naples Community Hospital, will be held at 4 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Earl G. Hodges Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Richard T. Lambert, pastor of Trinity-By-The-Cove Episcopal Church officiating. Friends may call at the Hodges Chapel between 7 and 9 pm tomorrow, Wednsday. Keenan had been a winter resident of Naples for the past 11 years and had lived at 2485 Lantern Lane since last October. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Vera Dodson Keenan of Naples, a son, Paul Keenan Jr. of New York City, and by his mother, a brother and a sister.

Naples Daily News - Dec.28, 1972 -Goodland - Ellen Loraine Kranz, 51, of P.O.Box 64, Mango Street, Goodland, died Wednesday at Naples Community Hospital.  She was a member of the St. Ann Catholic Church in Naples. She is survived by her husband Lee J. Kranz of Goodland; two sons, Robby Kranz of Naples and Ray Kranz of Goodland; and a daughter, Mrs. Cathy Reardon of Metamora, Ill. Funeral mass will be held Saturday at 9 am at the St. Ann Catholic Church with Father Leonard Puisis of San Marco Catholic Church officiating. Internment will be in Naples Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the Earl G. Hodges Funeral Chapel Friday from 6 - 8 pm.
