A marriage that came as a surprise to many friends of the contracting
parties, was that of Miss Dorothy A. Moore and C. L. Brantley. The
wedding took place yesterday afternoon at the Southside Baptist
Parsonage. The impressive ring service was used, Rev. P. C. Barkley,
pastor of the church, officiating. Immediately after the ceremony, Mr. and Mrs. Brantley left on their wedding trip and after March 1st., will be at home to their friends at 305 West Park Street. The bride is well known in Lakeland, having been in business here for the past 7 years, She is the popular owner of the Hygienic Beauty Shop in the Vanity Fair Arcade. The groom is a successful business man of Miami, being associated with the R. J. Nichols Paint Company of Miami.
