Easter Sunday 1922

In the extreme upper right is 17 year old Ernest Powell,
white shirt and tie.  Photo was taken on the steps of the Brewster Schoolhouse in 1922.
The 2 little girls in the center front row, both born in 1917 and about 5 yeras old, are
Mildred Booth Grizzard ( short dark hair, hand under chin ) who passed away a few years
ago and who's husband was the former Lakeland Mayor Harold Grizzard and still lives in Lakeland.
To the right ( long dark hair ) is well known Polk County Historian Hazel L. Bowman, who still lives in
Mulberry.
Note: We think this was an Easter picture of the Sunday School folk of Brewster,Fl.
it is in Brewster and 1922.
Sorry to say,that on Monday,October 12, 2009,
Hazel Bowman passed away,at the age of 92, she will be missed
