John L. Ezell, age 79, He was born May 26, 1931 in Winter Haven, FL. passed away on May 7, 2011.
  He was a veteran of the US Navy, retired as a Postmaster from the Ellenton, FL post office and was a member of the Cypresswood Golf & Country Club in Winter Haven.
  John was preceded in death by his father V.L. Ezell & brother Donald Ezell.
He is survived by his wife Alberta, son John (Karen) Ezell, Jr., daughter Keely (Ed) Malagon, mother Mary Ezell, brother Bill (Shirley) Ezell, five grandchildren & one great grandchild.
  Interment will occur at a future date in the Florida National Cemetery in
Bushnell, FL.

  James Alfred McClendon of Frostproof passed away Friday, April 15, 2011 at
the Winter Haven Hospital.
  He was born July 4, 1947 in Lake Wales to the late William A. & Nelma Tomberlin McClendon; he was a lifelong resident of the area.
 He was a postal clerk and carrier for the U.S. Post Office for 37 years and of the Baptist faith.
  Survivors include his wife, Patty Harrell McClendon; daughter, Christy Lynn
Bretch (Michael) of Jacksonville; sons, Tyson McClendon (Alison) of Frostproof and James McClendon (Elizabeth) of Mountain Home, ID; sister, Helen Ann Yates of Apopka; brother, Johnny McClendon of Murfreesboro, TN; and six grandchildren.
  Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00p.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at
the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof.
