Deceased Name: Patrick I. Stack
Patrick I. Stack, 85, of Port Charlotte, Fla., died Wednesday, March 6,
2002 at Fawcett Memorial Hospital in Port Charlotte.
He was born Feb. 16, 1917, in Inch County, Kerry, Ireland, and came to
Port Charlotte 26 years ago from Daytona Beach, Fla. He worked as a
carpenter in the construction business. Mr. Stack was a member and past
president of the Irish-American Club in Port Charlotte.
He was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Port
Charlotte.
Survivors include three sons, Dennis P. (Deborah) Stack, Patrick James
(Patricia) Stack and Robert M. Stack, all of Port Charlotte, Fla.; four
grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, March 11, 2002, at Paul
Schelm Funeral Home, Port Charlotte. Friends are invited to attend a
Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2002, at St.
Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Port Charlotte. Burial will follow
at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Port Charlotte.
Paul Schelm Funeral Home, Port Charlotte is in charge of arrangements.

In the 1911 census Patrick’s father Robert a farmer was the
head of the household in Inch, Annasoaul, Co Kerry Ireland. Robert and
his wife Ellen at this point had only had the oldest children, also
living there were Ellen’s parents John and Mary with 6 siblings to
Ellen ranging from 18 down to 9 months Robert and Ellen’s
Patrick’s parents were deceased by 1929
Their Youngest at the time was a year old Patrick’s sibling
in birth order are:
Julia Agnes born Jan-Mar 1906 Inch, Annascaul emigrated @18 in1924
according to passenger records her nearest relative in Ireland was John
Hogan Holyoke Mass they also show that she was 5’ tall had a fresh
complexion with fair hair and grey eyes and was joining her aunt Mary
Hogan, in Holyoke Mass and about the 1930s she married Richard
McQueeney from New Jersey some of their son Richards family now live in
St Cloud Florida
Robert Augustine Jul - Sep 1907 emigrated @ 23 in 1930 Springfield Mass
according to passenger records his nearest relative in Ireland was his
uncle James Stack, they also show that he was 5’7” tall had a fresh
complexion with brown hair and blue eyes and was joining his
uncle William Hogan. Died in Mar-1960 in Daytona Beach Florida 2002 New
York (Before 1951
John Joseph 1910 remained in Ireland
James P 25 Jun 1912 emigrated @17 in 1929 Springfield Mass according to
passenger records his nearest relative in Ireland was his brother
Robert and in brackets it said parents
died. They also show that he
was 5’8” tall had a fresh complexion with dark hair and blue
eyes was joining his sister Julia Stack Springfield,
